Last night before I went to bed I set my alarm one hour earlier than usual (6:00am) so I would have plenty of time to get everyone and everything ready for church at 9:00a.m. I wanted the children to look extra cute because it was the Primary Presentation and Brother and Big Sister both had speaking parts. I also wanted to be able to get to church early so I could set things up for relief society.
So at 6:00am my alarm went off, I showered while everyone was asleep and figured if I could get myself ready before everyone woke up I would be in good shape. About 6:40 Big Sister came into my room and I said "Why are you awake? You don't need to get up until your alarm clock goes off at 7:30am." She said, "I don't know, my alarm went off so I got up." That should have been my first clue. I sent Big Sister back to bed and continued to get myself ready.
At 7:15 I decided it was time to wake everyone up and get them moving. I headed down stairs and as I walked through the family room I looked to at the clocks, they all said 8:15am. I thought that can't be right. So I ran to my cell phone to see what time it said. Sure enough it said 8:15. I checked my alarm clock by my bed and it said 7:15. My stupid alarm clock that automatically resets itself for the time change did not get the memo that day light savings was pushed back a week. So instead of being an hour ahead of schedule, I was an hour late. We have never gotten ready for church faster. It was like a Christmas miracle. Merlin took the three oldest and made it to church by 8:50 and Baby Girl and I made it before the opening song & prayer. The kids really did look cute, I would have taken a picture to post but, we were running a little behind schedule.
I am just glad that I did set my clock one hour early or I would not have figured out about the incorrect time change until 9:15am and we would have missed church altogether.

I am sooooooo glad you were there because Lily had a very important part to the program. I didn't even have Lily's talk to read for her so I am very grateful all went well. Youir kids did look very cute like always. I wouldn't have even known you were late.
I never suspected a thing.
And I am still smiling over West.
Did Merlin have time to shower? I thought I smelled something...
and West was so darn cute!
Yes Merlin did shower.
