Guess again

Merlin was scout master in two different wards for about eight years. I supported him as best I could through the once a month weekend camps and the week long summer camp, (which felt more like two weeks, when you consider the preparation, shopping, packing and unpacking.) When Merlin was released as scout master late last year my first (secret) thought was "Yea! No more week looong scout camps!"
That was wishful thinking.
It is scout camp this week.
Yup, Merlin is gone.
He left yesterday and will be back on Saturday.
At least it is just two nights, instead of five.

P.S. I am really not complaining. I knew Merlin would continue to support/help the scouts, because he knows how important the scouting program is. And I am thankful for all the men who took time off work, and time away from their families to go to scout camp when Merlin was the scout master.
