Now that Brother is 8 he gets to go to cubs scouts! His second meeting was the Blue & Gold Banquet. He was assigned to make a cake. Not just any cake, a man cake. Now girls were allowed to help. So Merlin and Brother went to work on their cake. Brother had a little cough, so we made him wear a mask.
Well, about an hour before the banquet, Brother was not looking so good. Remember a few days ago when his sisters couldn't go to his baptism because they were sick. I took his temperature and it was 101.9*. I told he would not be able to go and he was so very sad. But his man cake was awesome! A camp site, complete with trees, a tent, campfire, river w/ canoe, a lego camper stuck in a tree and a bear.
