Missionary Homecoming

My niece Feli returned home from her 18 month LDS mission on Friday.Yes, she is Tongan. Yes, she is my niece. How is that possible, you might as? By love. My dad adopted her dad, Paul, into our family 21 years ago.

We went to the Tongan ward today to listen to Feli tell us about what she learned while she was away from home and experiences she had while serving on her mission. Merlin & I and the kids settled into a pew and waited for the meeting to begin. When the Bishop stood up to the pulpit, he greeted everyone and proceeded to conduct the meeting in Tongan. Baby Girl looked at us with a puzzled look on her face, then leaned over to Brother and said, "What is he saying, Brother?"

Tongan, Chinese. It's the same right? :)
